Privacy notice

This notice explains how your information is used when you request a journey through Matt’s Travel.

Your booking information

We use the contact details, pickup and drop-off addresses, journey dates and times, passenger and luggage information, and any notes you provide to review and arrange your travel. Email is optional; a contact phone number helps us get in touch about your journey.

Matt and authorised staff can manage your request. The assigned driver receives the details needed to carry out their journey, including the route, contact details and fare. Hosting and database services support the booking website and dispatch app.

Addresses and Google Maps

Address search text and selected locations are sent to Google for address suggestions. Journey addresses and ordered stops may also be sent to Google to check a driving route and calculate a road-distance estimate. Booking contact details are not included in those route-estimate requests.

Selected addresses and Google place identifiers help retain the correct locations for your booking. Opening a Google Maps directions link shares the journey locations with Google; its service may ask to use your device’s current location.

Google handles information under the Google Privacy Policy. Google Maps features are also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

Booking updates and this device

The form asks for permission to send booking-related text messages. Where messaging is available, your phone number and relevant journey details are used for these updates.

Your browser may temporarily keep your booking reference and a summary so you can view the request confirmation. If you use a shared device, close the booking pages when you have finished.
